MACRO SCALE
Power Generation
Solar power: roofs, farms, giant mirror farm,
Wind power: on buildings, open spaces
Nuclear: safe and expensive, dangerous and low cost
Coal power: dirty methods
Water: hydroelectric dams, tide containment pool with hydro electric dams built in, floating arm, wave in and out hydro electric driven, underwater buoy
Methane: from sewer, farming, composting
Storage
Water: Pump it vertically when energy is at low cost part of the day or is being generated. When energy is needed or when energy is at high cost part of day then the water is let out and powers a hydro electric generator. This can be done is a giant water reservoir area of land, an artificially made above ground basin, water towers, or in giant vertical shafts that have very large weights placed floating in them made of rock and concrete.
Trains: They can be driven up a hill and then released to generate electricity when needed.
Gravity and compression: Use large weights lifted vertically and spring compression is also usable.
Hydraulic energy accumulator: Really large setups of them
Graphene super cells: Weatherproof shipping containers that have graphene ultra capacitors built inside of them. These can be loaded into buildings basements, buried in giant shafts underground, etc.
