What do I mean by romantic relationships? I mean Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Etiam consequat tellus a congue sagittis. Sed tincidunt convallis purus ut maximus. Curabitur sollicitudin efficitur turpis, eget luctus nisi mollis non. Mauris vitae consectetur est. Duis euismod porttitor fermentum. Donec ac arcu nec nulla porta efficitur. Phasellus at eros convallis, ultrices purus id, bibendum quam. Vestibulum vitae sodales arcu, convallis porttitor sapien. Donec quam massa, aliquam vel velit at, gravida elementum justo.
To start, the most important thing you need before getting into a romantic relationship is a growth mindset. Then it’s important to learn about attachment styles. Then you can get going with the rest of the stuff you need to know.
Growth Mindset vs Learning Mindset
A growth mindset and a learning mindset are not the same things in my view. Here is what I mean by both of those terms:
- Growth Mindset: This involves embracing challenges, persevering through setbacks, learning from criticism, and finding lessons and inspiration in the success of others. It’s often associated with personal development, which can indeed be challenging and sometimes painful. This pain or discomfort arises because growth typically involves confronting and overcoming deeply ingrained habits, beliefs, or fears.
- Learning Mindset: While a learning mindset also values growth and improvement, it focuses more on the acquisition of knowledge and understanding. This can be less emotionally taxing than the growth mindset because it’s not always directly tied to personal change or confronting personal limitations.
Attachment Styles
The next thing is to understand your own developmental traumas. The first trauma I would focus on is Attachment Styles. We all have one. So it’s important to understand it and work to make adjustments if you have an insecure attachment style instead of a secure attachment style.
What is an attachment style? An attachment style is…

Standards
The first thing about standards in relationships is to actually have standards in a relationship. Then it is reasonable to have reasonable standards. What are relationship standards? Relationship standards are…

Seriousness of Relationship and Quality of Advice
When it comes to a romantic relationship and the things you need to do to make it work, there are incremental stages in terms of seriousness and the advice that works to varying levels of degrees for each stage. Some people have advice that will get you a date, but will not be quality advice for getting you into a relationship. Some advice will help you have a relationship for a period of time but will not help you keep the relationship for a long term relationship in terms of marriage type long term. So when it comes to advice, it is important to have high quality advice or you are going to have low quality results that waste your time and hurt you. The advice shared on this website and resources associated are meant to be high quality advice to help you have long term healthy relationships. Make sure to look out for “dating advice” if that dating advice does not seem to be healthy and applicable to what you would use in finding a quality partner that can have a happy and healthy long term relationship with you. Short term dating advice is soul destroying stuff.
