Your feet need a certain minimum amount of walking or you are going to not have enough foot strength to get around very well when you need to. If you walk too much without the foot strength you will hurt yourself. If you are overweight this can also be a problem because your bones and tendons and such don’t get better at holding you up, they just have to support more weight.
