Like the name implies, it is a bookshelf that is modular. You can build up as many levels as you want, as wide as you want. Each self section would be a box roughly the size of a milk crate. These sections would be boxes that you can store and move the books in manageable amounts.
It would be great to have a modular bookshelf. It would be designed in such a way where you could have different size books perhaps for each level. Or just standard holds everything kind of shelves. The big selling point to me would not just be a modular shelf that can go up and to the side however you want, but also that each modular space would be a box. That box would be about the size of a milk crate and be setup so that you could use it to move the books when you needed to move your home or move the shelf somewhere else. It’s such a nightmare to move books, store books, etc. I think this would be a game changer. It would be the shipping container of bookshelves. One shelf to rule them all.
